Brina Aldredge

Interior Architecture, 2026 – she/her

Born in Bellingham Washington,  was raised on Nooksack Tribal lands she is a member of the Nooksack 306 disenrollment. She is a member of Shxwhá:y Village located in Chilliwack B.C. and Tlingit Alaska. Safiuchi is a multi-talented individual renowned for her abstract expressionist paintings. Her distinctive style features layered thick brushstrokes and bold colors, often incorporating black and white, with subtle shadows of figures and faces sometimes discernible. A consistent element in her work is a lowercase “i,” symbolizing the self in one’s personal journey, encapsulated in her empowering slogan, “i live.” Safiuchi’s art is deeply connected to her personal experiences, serving as a powerful medium for healing and raising awareness about important social issues within humanity and multicultural communities.

Safiuchi’s abstract expressionism is deeply entwined with her personal journey of healing and a profound need to communicate the complexities of human experience. Through the visceral language of layered acrylics, the raw intensity of charcoal and pastels, and the textured depth of collagraphy prints with ink on paper, she unveils narratives of resilience and vulnerability. The recurring presence of black and white in her abstract pieces serves as a foundational duality, a stark canvas upon which the vibrant chaos of life unfolds. Within this interplay of light and shadow, subtle forms and veiled figures often emerge, hinting at the unseen stories that shape us.

Dahyun Kim

Art, 2027 – he/they

Created with RNI Films app. Profile ‘Fuji Astia 100F’

Dahyun Kim (b. 2004) is a Seattle-based artist, currently studying Visual Arts at Cornish College of the Arts. His works have been nominated and premiered in Shoreline Short Short Film Festival, Sea-Tac International Airport Film Installation (Seattle, WA), and ETHOS Film Festival (Santa Monica, CA). He is the recipient of Syvilla Fort Scholarship (2024 & 2025), Sherry Raisbeck Endowed Scholarship (2024 & 2025), and Pilchuck Glass School Scholarship (2024) at Cornish College of the Arts.

He explores diverse media from video installation to performance art to illustrate the perspective of being an Asian American immigrant. He focuses on bridging the cultural gap between the people he spotlights and the viewers through videos. His documentation of linguistic elements from bicultural lives are often what disconnect them from American society, yet he brings these texts and speeches to expose the viewers to an intimate, foreign environment.

He concentrates on mixed viewpoints of American society by repurposing historical matters. He aims to capture the moral dissonance between the Western perspective and his identity which stretches to current issues such as media and technology. The vulnerability of viewers’ subjectivity when faced with historical, multi-perspective dilemmas is his question he has as a bicultural artist.

Quinton Kuhn

Music, 2027

My name is Quinton, and my musical journey began at the age of seven when I first picked up the fiddle. Since then, I’ve grown into a classically trained violinist, composer, improviser, and collaborator. I’m currently studying and performing in various ensembles at Cornish College of the Arts, where I continue to explore and expand my musical voice. Beyond performing, I’m also a content creator who aims to brighten people’s days through the lens of music. One of my proudest accomplishments is constantly uploading music-related content every day for an entire year—a personal project that pushed my creativity and discipline. As a composer, I recently had the honor of writing a piece for the ensemble loadbang, which was world premiered on April 2, 2025, on a shared program with the incredible Pamela Z. In addition to composing for ensembles, I also write and release original songs—both instrumental and vocal—available on all major streaming platforms.
